The Slavic Village neighborhood in Cleveland has a trail that runs through the neighborhood that is accessible to parks, stores, churches, schools and other locations in the neighborhood. The Slavic Village Development wanted to promote active living by promoting the Morgana Run Trail as more than just a trail to exercise on — but also as a way to get to places throughout the neighborhood.
The Slavic Village Active Living map was designed to help locals navigate easily to parks, libraries, grocery stores and more from the trail. I designed a map that has the trail clearly marked with a color-coded key for locations along the trail. The opposite side of the map includes information about the Morgana Run Trail and the Cleveland Metroparks located in Slavic Village. The map was designed to fold into a convenient pocket size.
The Slavic Village Active Living Map is being used by those living in the neighborhood. It has been a great guide for the community to find locations along the Morgana Run Trail promoting active living in the neighborhood.
