Blonder Home Accents participates in a week-long market week event at their New York showroom every three months. Buyers attend the market week event to preview the new products created by multiple companies at their showrooms. Blonder Home Accents needed an invitation designed to help promote the event to buyers. They decided to feature the Woolrich line of bath accessories. They also decided to transform the showroom to highlight the Woolrich line of products.
I designed an invitation following Woolrich’s branding and lifestyle marketing. I took the photo of the bath accessories for the inside of the invitation using props to make it appear that the products were placed in a log cabin. A transparent paper stock was selected for an insert to invite some guests to a cocktail party. Woolrich had several tag lines to choose from in their branding guide. I chose the tag line “The best stories never end” for the front of the invitation. I selected this tag line not only to market the Woolrich lifestyle with the image of a couple on a canoe, but also to represent the two companies working together who have both had long histories. Blonder Home Accents has been in business since 1918, and Woolrich has been in business since 1830.
The client had a great turnout at the event. The buyers were thrilled and impressed by the new line of Woolrich products.
