Welcome to the New Home for Boos Design Group

I have been working on my new website for about a year, and it is finally completed. This is the third version of my site since starting Boos Design Group in January of 2007. I designed my first site quickly. Then, I learned Flash. I thought designing a site in Flash would be the answer. I then joined the Cleveland Web Standards Association where I learned that a content based site using XHTML and CSS would be best. I soon began thinking about my next site. I spent a lot of time doing research and planning for the site.

Working on this site has taught me how important it is to specialize in what I do best, design. It also has taught me how collaboration makes for a better end result. I realized that one of the most important aspects of a website was the content. I found myself concerned about design and development, and the content was not so great. I decided to work with a writer to fine tune my content. I worked with Jocelyn Eikenburg from the Wu Way. Jocelyn developed a voice for the site. She made sure that the content fit me and my business goals. I am so pleased with her work. I also collaborated with a front-end developer, Brad Vrudney from Codesummit. He worked on the XHTML and CSS for the site. Brad also set up the site in a content management system (CMS). Now that my site is built in a CMS, I can easily add new articles and portfolio samples to the site. Brad really helped my vision come to life.

Please take your time looking around the site and feel free to provide your feedback.
